If you want to know the Philippines weather forecast for the day, you can just go immediately to PAGASA’s website. But if you’re looking for the 7 day weather forecast for a specific Philippine destination, you’re better off looking somewhere else. In this post I’ll tell you exactly where, and then some.

After some idle time, I decided to cut short my account on Hinatuan’s Enchanted River. Perhaps its just boredom or maybe its the lure of another spot waiting for me to set foot on. Right now I’m salivating on the thought of going to Tinuy-an Falls somewhere in Bislig, Surigao Del Sur.

Although this blog is solely dedicated to Philippine destinations that are usually off the beaten track, I do dream of travelling overseas as well. I think unconsciously this has been the central theme of my existence. Most of my work I’ve carefully chosen to have some sort of travel involved whether domestic or international. [ad#336] [...]

Looking at the enchanted river for the first time simply took my breath away. Yes the picture wasn’t deceiving at all. The water is blue and you can see down to its bottomless pit. Seeing the river in front of my eyes, I didn’t know what to do first. Should I jump in first? Should [...]

It is El Nido without the pain in the ass. Literally. None of those 8 hour rides over crappy roads or wasted time waiting for the same road to be passable (totally worth it though). I was in Caramoan for a total of 24 hours but within that period of time, I’ve already experienced a [...]

In about 10 hours from now I should be wetting my feet in one of Caramoan’s beautiful beaches. Barring all natural calamities, I intend to have a wonderful time swimming and taking photographs of this awesome part of the Philippines. [ad#336] If Caramoan sounds familiar to you, this is probably because Survivor is filming there [...]

Butuan City is a storied place, and not without it’s controversy. It’s been said that even before the Philippines came to be, there was already the Kingdom of Butuan. Of course a lot of people were quick to dispute that claim. In this featured post, Francis of Butuan City Today, gives us a glimpse of Butuan through its artifacts and its month-long Balanghai Festival.
