Hi Jan, you're right. Daku is big. As for the internet access, well I was totally unplugged there. I was just using the downtime to prepare some articles so when I go back to Manila I only have to copy and paste.

This is really a great place for a weekend getaway. I enjoyed fully here. before going there, I was viewing this blog and when I was actually there, I remembered your photos

Lovely names for these islands, Guyam and Daku. In our province, guyam means ants. Well, daku is daku. As I understand it it means big? Well – on another note, it's great one can access the Internet from there, right. That's a good thing to have. Although if one needs to be a purist about it you'd give totally unplugging from the hive a serious thought. It's vacation after all.

I love your descriptions and pictures. Really gives me the travel bug. Luckily my husband and I are going to Jamaica soon, so I can let my toes sink into the warm silky sand rather than having to imagine it.
