The best road trip is one that’s unplanned. Planning sometimes can cause major disappointments due to unmet expectations. I find that when there’s very little planning involved, the pleasure derived from that activity is increased dramatically. Note: Apologies for the awful lighting, it was really cloudy when I took these photos and I only have a point and shoot camera. If you’re a superduper millionaire, feel free to send me a Nikon D90.

Here’s my two-cents worth on unplanned roadtrips.
1. Make sure you have clean underwear (because you never know, hint-hint, wink-wink, nudge-nudge).
2. You must have a sweet ride. Note: Sweetness is defined by ownership. You can have the most battered owner jeep imaginable, but if it’s yours, it’s still sweet. If you insist on travelling by bus or other forms of public transportation, make it non-aircon. Better flavor that way.
3. The route you’re planning to take must have pit stops! It’s for the grub man, best part of the journey. And also for disposing excess food and water. ![]()
4. Have an exotic location in mind. It doesn’t have to be foreign to have a foreign sounding name.
5. And the most important part, make sure there’s an endless supply of roads to where you are going.

Your final destination? Who knows? Road trips are road trips because you’re doing it for the road. Sounds stupid I know but haven’t you heard? Life’s a journey, not a destination. Blame Aerosmith for that!
Vroom, vroom!!

Ma'am Jena! Hi, oh boy, how juvenile you must think of me with my writing and all. Angeles was just awesome. My Pampangueno friend warned me that folks from your place tend to go all out when they have visitors. I think he was being modest. I hope us (adopted) Manila boys can return the favor someday! Thank you very much!

Great line, I may quoted “And the most important part, make sure there’s an endless supply of roads to where you are going.”
My family and I may say that we did this kind of trip, we were new to the place, then my father just drive and drive, heheheehhe.
I love Road trips, I love to see green trees and plants and hear the stories of different places.

I found this great review that lists the 10 best restaurants in the Philippines… I’ve been to many of them and the food was incredible! Check out the review here: http://www.petaasiapacific.com/action-alerts-it...

Hahaha. You need to pace yourself Vet. Rule of thumb is you need to stop at least every two hours and do some stretching exercises. Don't get carried away!!
